It’s time to register for the 2010-2011 school year! Welcome to those who are registering for the first time and welcome back to those who have attended Shir Tikvah’s Religious/Hebrew Schools before.

Your registration forms are due Monday, June 30, 2010.

Important points regarding registration:

• You must be a member in good standing with Shir Tikvah in order to register for religious school. Members “in good standing” are current in all of their synagogue financial accounts and will have submitted their annual membership commitment form for 2010-2011. For membership information, call the office at 612-822-1440.

• School tuition is subsidized by the congregation’s annual operating budget. For those who can afford to pay full tuition and have an interest in helping others, there is an option to check the box on the Tuition Agreement.

• Please be assured that no child will be refused a Jewish education due to financial constraints. Special tuition arrangements can be made by contacting Executive Director, John Humleker, at (612)822-1440. Tuition information is on the enclosed 2010-2011 Tuition Agreement form.

• Bar/Bat Mitzvah fees are not included in the school tuition. • Before school begins you will receive a letter regarding opening days, class list and other material which will need to be filled out.

• On the first day of school your child’s specific classroom assignment will be posted.

• In order to meet the needs of each student, all applicable information must be provided for registration to be accepted. Completed registration forms must be on file before your child will be allowed to start school.

This information is considered confidential and may only be shared with the Director of Lifelong Learning Rabbi Simon, Rabbi Latz and their teacher unless your permission is otherwise obtained.

School Hours:

• Mishpacha (pre-K): Is once a month on Sundays, 9:30-11:30

• Religious School (K-Confirmation): Sundays, 9:30-11:30 am

• Hebrew School (3rd – 7th grade): Wednesdays, 4:15-6:00 or 6:15-8:00
