| Shacharit Morning Minyan Services continue Thursday mornings at 7:45 am: | | Join us for summer shacharit minyan, which will include a 10- to 15-minute lesson on an aspect of the morning service, on Thursday mornings, June 10 through July 22, from 7:45 to 8:45 AM. The service will be led by rabbinic intern, Jason Rodich. Our goal is to introduce the daily liturgy.
The focus of the minyan will be on major themes and prayers, with an emphasis on gaining a deeper understanding of the meaning and structure of the service. We will pay particular attention to learning the full Reform Amidah.
Although the service will be Thursday mornings, when the Torah is traditionally chanted, we will not necessarily chant Torah every week. We may do a brief Torah study or use other creative or alternative approaches to this part of the service.
